Jobs - Front Desk Manager

The front desk manager is responsible for the daily front desk operation of the store including front desk reception duties, herbal bar, retail sales and inventory management, store supplies, membership and retail upsell, customer services and all daily front desk operation aspects at Redmint. Duties also include the greeting, answering phone calls, assisting guests with questions regarding services and products, checking the guest into the computer system, charging for services performed, events, making herbal bar drinks, keeping store clean and fully stocked of all needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage day to day front desk operation of the store
  • Manage front desk staffs and schedules
  • Properly open and close Redmint urban wellness sanctuary each day according to Operation Procedures.
  • Manage flow of appointments and events
  • Accurately book, change and cancel appointments.
  • Acknowledge and greet everyone who enters and leaves the facilities in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Tour guests and provide detailed descriptions of treatments, memberships, packages, services, facility features and hours of operation.
  • Maintain a Desk Bank with correct change, responsible for cleanliness of facilities in 2 locations.
  • Answer the phone within three rings and use the guest’s name twice throughout the phone conversation.
  • Actively promote Redmint, treatments, memberships, services, herbal drinks and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts if available.
  • Prepare and dispense beverages from herbal bar/herbal machine as requested by guests while keeping area fully stocked and maintaining cleanliness standards.
  • Handle guests’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, fully stocked and well-organized work area and treatment rooms.
  • Assist in all areas of wellness sanctuary front desk operation as requested by management.
  • Represent Redmint to develop partnerships with local and wellness communities
  • Review daily close out schedules and time clock reports
  • Manage Insurance billing process and be the primary point of contact for the biller
  • Manage store inventory and supplies; keep all store records organized.
  • Special projects as assigned. Duties can change from time to time due to store needs.

Education and Experiences Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years store management experience
  • Spa/Fitness/Wellness experience required
  • SF resident strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in Mindbody booking system preferred
  • Bachelor's degree 
  • Strong sense of ownership and can-do attitude
  • Responsible and trustworthy
  • Willingness to work one day on the weekend and holidays
